Technology:
Corin is dedicated to the use of advanced technologies to improve implant
function and longevity.
Titanium nitride (TiN) coating:
A ceramic layer applied to the polished surface designed to reduce wear and enhance
longevity of the implant, TiN coating has been shown to reduce wear by up to 98%(2).
Biomimetic Cementless Technology coating:
An established and proven process of applying a thin layer of calcium phosphate to a
titanium plasma-sprayed layer, Biomimetic Cementless Technology is designed to provide
optimal bone integration(3,4,5,6,7,8).
Reproducibility:
The third generation instrumentation allows the surgeon to carry out accurate, reproducible
implant positioning with a comprehensive, fully jigged system. The option to make the tibial
and talar cut on one jig is unique to this system.
Stability:
The tibial stem has demonstrated stability with over 25 years of clinical use. Two anterior pegs
on the talus provide primary and rotational stability along with even load transfer.
